Passionate about his country, the guide introduced us to local rituals, in particular the BACI ceremony, a deep and sincere emotional sharing that allowed us to plunge into the soul of Laos.

Sailing Halong Bay in a smaller boat created the intimate atmosphere of a private cruise. Between majestic landscapes and karst formations, every moment was a delight. Taïchi classes at sunrise and tasty meals on board enriched this unique experience.

Meetings with Princess Sita and Prince Tessot gave us unique insights into Cambodian history. The elegant Raffles Hotel, a reflection of the colonial spirit, and the enriching visit to the Mint Museum heightened our appreciation of Cambodian resilience, magnificently relayed by our guide.

Punakha
Punakha, with its impressive dzong situated where the two rivers meet, offers spectacular views and indescribable serenity. Our walks in the valley and the stories shared by our local guide added a spiritual dimension to our journey. The visit to the 51.5-metre-high Dordenma Buddha was impressive.

Paro
There was no time to get bored, with a programme packed with activities. Between the archery competition, the day and night markets and the village visits to explore Bhutanese history, every moment was packed with discoveries. The meeting with monks and the 'Tiger's Nest' excursion were highlights of this stopover.
